About the role:
As an Associate in Ambit's Venture Capital and M&A practice, you will join the most active venture capital law firm in Central and Eastern Europe, contributing to approximately 40 VC transactions annually alongside numerous M&A deals, closing a new transaction nearly every week. You will deliver solutions that accelerate client objectives, advising on strategic acquisitions, cross-border transactions, and corporate restructurings.
What you'll do:
- Lead and execute venture capital and private equity transactions
- Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments
- Handle corporate restructurings and post-closing integration matters
- Draft and negotiate transaction documentation
- Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessment
- Collaborate with clients and investors to structure optimal deal terms
What we're looking for:
- Qualified lawyer with M&A or corporate law experience
- Ambitious professional who thrives in high-velocity environments
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Czech
