About
Ondřej Lukeš has advised on more than 30 M&A transactions, including several high-profile cross-border deals such as the sale of ČEZ's assets in Romania and Bulgaria, the ČEZ-European Metals Holdings joint venture for the Cínovec lithium project, the acquisition of a controlling stake in Kiwi.com by a U.S. investor, and Moneta Money Bank's acquisition of Wüstenrot's Czech subsidiaries.
His strong background in energy law has been instrumental in transactions involving heat distribution networks, gas storage assets, and Europe's largest onshore wind park. Ondřej also advises on venture capital investments and corporate structuring, including the setup of joint ventures, shareholders' agreements, ESOP frameworks, and convertible or SAFE-type instruments for various startups. His experience further extends to real estate and insolvency, having advised on the acquisition of a CZK 500 million property portfolio and participated in complex insolvency proceedings, including the restructuring of non-performing loan portfolios and the Sberbank insolvency—the largest financial institution bankruptcy in the Czech market.
