Key Findings
Four out of five investments went to very young startups in their first or second funding round.
The typical investment in these early-stage projects (pre-seed and seed combined) reached a median of €500,000. The median pre-money valuation of a startup was around €6.5 million.
The gap between pre-seed and seed investments is widening. The median investment amount for the first rounds is €260,000, while the second rounds already reach €1.4 million.
