David Chorvát

David focuses on venture capital, startups, and emerging technologies at Ambit. His practice is distinguished by the integration of legal knowledge with practical business insight gained through both academic research and hands-on entrepreneurial ventures.

During his studies at Masaryk University, David delved deeply into distributed ledger technologies (DLT) and their legal implications, dedicating his diploma thesis to NFTs and virtual property concepts. His academic interest in innovation is complemented by practical entrepreneurial experience in cross-border trade, where he managed the import of dried fruit from non-EU countries into the European market, navigating complex regulatory frameworks.

David's international experience includes study programs at Vietnam National University and an Erasmus+ project in Turkey, as well as teaching English abroad. These experiences have equipped him with strong cross-cultural communication skills and adaptability—essential qualities for advising startups and high-growth companies navigating legal and business challenges in dynamic, global markets.
