Štěpán Kvapil

Štěpán Kvapil's work sits at the intersection of venture capital, private equity, M&A, and corporate law. He advises both sides of the table, working with venture capital and private equity funds on their investments, and helping companies navigate funding rounds, and exits. Whether structuring a seed round, negotiating a growth equity deal, or handling an acquisition, his focus is always on getting deals done efficiently and with a clear sense of what really matters.

Outside of transactions, Štěpán works with technology companies and other businesses, building their legal foundations, from designing ESOP programs and setting up governance frameworks to drafting commercial contracts that enable businesses to move quickly without unnecessary legal friction.

Štěpán earned his law degree from Masaryk University, where he focused mainly on commercial and civil law. He deepened his expertise through an exchange program at the University of Antwerp, where he studied both the fundamentals and practical aspects of international M&A and cross-border commercial transactions - experience he now draws on when advising international and growth-oriented clients.
