Tomáš Ditrych serves as Managing Partner and CEO at Ambit, where he leads the firm's evolution as Central and Eastern Europe's premier technology-focused law firm. Under his leadership, Ambit delivers sophisticated legal solutions to venture capital funds, high-growth technology companies, and institutional investors executing complex cross-border transactions. With law degrees from both the Czech Republic and the United States (San Francisco), Tomáš brings a distinctive dual-jurisdictional perspective that resonates with international clients.
Over his career, he has successfully advised on more than 200 venture capital and private equity transactions, establishing himself as a strategic partner to both institutional investors and CEOs of rapidly scaling companies. Tomáš's practice encompasses the full spectrum of corporate and transactional matters, including venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and emerging company representation. He has developed particular expertise in structuring complex cross-border deals, implementing sophisticated ESOP frameworks, and guiding technology companies through critical inflection points.
His client roster includes leading VC and PE funds, funds of funds, family offices, and innovative startups across the technology ecosystem. In recognition of his contributions to legal innovation and excellence in serving the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Tomas was elected Innovative Lawyer of 2019. Tomáš also serves as a lecturer at Charles University's Faculty of Law, where he teaches a "Startups and VC Investments" course, sharing his practical insights with the next generation of legal professionals.
