The Prague-based energy startup Delta Green Czech Republic has successfully secured an investment of 50 million Czech korunas from leading venture capital funds Credo Ventures, Tilia Impact Ventures, and Purple Ventures. The law firm Ambit (known as Mavericks until December 2025) provided comprehensive legal counsel on this significant investment, which strengthens Delta Green's position as a pioneer in sustainable energy in Central and Eastern Europe.
Strategic Significance of the Investment
The 50 million CZK investment represents a strategic milestone for Delta Green, founded by David Brožík, Jan Hicl, Lukáš Beneš, and Prokop Čech. The transaction reflects growing investor interest in the greentech sector and projects focused on sustainable energy.
Revolutionary Proteus Technology
Delta Green's key product is the Proteus system, which intelligently manages and optimises home power plants. This proprietary technology automatically responds to conditions in the energy market—reducing consumption and storing energy during periods of high prices or grid overload, then releasing it back to the grid during periods of excess renewable generation.
Households using the Proteus system save thousands of crowns a year while actively contributing to grid stabilisation. Delta Green is also the first company in Central and Eastern Europe to obtain a licence from ČEPS (Czech Electricity Transmission System) to provide power balancing services with home power plants—a significant competitive advantage.
