Ambit represented Czech startup Vím o všem in negotiations for an investment from angel investors.
Czech startup Vím o všem s.r.o. connected construction workers, office staff and the project investor through a single application. An angel investment of several million CZK funded feature development and improvements, easier onboarding for new users and instructional videos. CzechCrunch reported on the financing on May 21, 2020.
An application for construction oversight
Josef Beneš founded Vím o všem to digitize the construction industry. The application connects workers on construction sites, office staff and the project investor. It brings together a digital construction log, attendance records and tool tracking in one place.
Workers can use the mobile application to clock in and out, check out tools or request materials. Office staff can access these records, while the project investor can view the construction log and photographs documenting the progress of the work.
Investors and use of funds
According to CzechCrunch’s report at the time, entrepreneur Jan Janovský and web designer Pavel Popp invested in the company. The total investment amounted to several million CZK.
The company used the funds to develop and improve features, simplify onboarding for new users and create instructional videos. Its plans for further development also included testing the application abroad.
Further funding and a name change
In November 2020, the company announced an investment from the Nation 1 fund of CZK 15.5 million. The financing was intended to accelerate application development and further growth.
In February 2021, the company introduced the name Stavario and announced preparations to enter Germany, the United Kingdom and Vietnam. Local partners were expected to support the expansion and were preparing market entry and application localization for each market.
